RJHS April Teacher and Student of the Month

Robyn Sanders is the April Teacher of the Month! She teaches Special Education at RJHS. She was nominated by a fellow staff members, Coach Barry Whittington, and Mr. Luke Humphreys. They both had wonderful things to say about her in their nominations! They said, “She is passionate about her job.  She is selfless in the work that she does to help out her students that need and depend on her.  She shares her ideas with other teachers and tries to ease their workload in order to streamline the classroom.  She is always willing to help others!   She always has a fun-loving attitude, and she brightens every room she goes into. Her positive attitude is infectious; it helps her students learn and the rest of us stay sane. She handles stressful students well, which is a good thing, because she deals with many of our most stressful students everyday. We are very thankful to have her help in our classrooms each day!"

Camryn Freeman is the April Student of the Month! She is an 8th grader, and the daughter of Wayne and Jennifer Rowland. She was nominated by her EAST teacher, Ms. Holly Sutterfield. She said, "Camryn is the epitome of an all around great student, especially an EAST student. Camryn has a passion for helping others in the classroom as well as in the community. Camryn has participated in crafts with senior adults at the nursing home, she has created a food pantry box to be displayed at RJHS, helped organize a canned food drive, and she updates the announcements weekly. She is willing to help anyone when asked, and does so with a smile."

RJHS wants to say a big congratulations to Mrs. Sanders and Camryn Freeman!
